Mountain navigation courses

Welcome to our Navigation course page

Click on the course options below to get a detailed itinerary of our popular navigation and training courses in Dublin. Here you can also check the available date, book and pay for the course of your choice.

All our courses are run on a ratio of 1:6 or less, to ensure you get the most out of the day, and are run by Russ Mills, who has over 35 years of practical experience in the mountains and has been a qualified Mountain Leader for many seasons.

We endeavour to offer a range of courses to suit every explorers need, be them new to the world of hill skills or seasoned professionals. Our leader Russ has a range of experience from giving introductory courses to couples looking to build new skills, to helping more experienced hikers prepare for serious summits such as Kilimanjaro (which Russ himself has guided on).

So whether your compass has got you in a spin or you need the experience of a seasoned professional for your next peak, these navigation and hill skills courses, based in Dublin, are for you.

If you can’t see what you are looking for here then get in touch, we would be happy to create a tailor made course to suit your needs.
