Lugnaquilla is the highest mountain in the Wicklow range, is 931 metres (3054 ft.) high, and is one of only 13 peaks over 3000ft. in Ireland. This bulky mountain, topped with a large plateau, is not technically difficult, but does require stamina.
Grade: Hard (ideal for regular hikers who are used to walking longer distances with a sustained climb included).
