The Cushnabinnia Horseshoe is at the heart of the Galty Mountains, and takes in its highest peak, Galtymore (919 metres), as well as Cush, Galtybeg and Slieve Cushnabinnia.

Grade: Hard, (rocky mountain paths and steep hillside)

Meeting point: Clydach Bridge car park ( R 875 279) at 10.30

Pick up point in Dublin: Tourist office, Suffolk Street, 08.00 am

Height gain: 1020m (3345 ft.)

Distance: 13km (8.0 miles)

Time: Approx. 7.0 hours

Cost €30.00 per person (€45 including transport from Dublin)
