This short course was designed to meet the needs of those who wanted a good introduction to the skills, equipment and techniques required to safely hike in the hills of Ireland. It is not intended as a substitute for a Mountain Skills course, it does not go into navigation in the same detail.
It is, however, intended to give confidence to those who wish to start hillwalking.
On this course we offer the following:

- Evening 3 – Further navigation; contour interpretation and route planning.
Plus two guided hikes of your choice, taken from our hiking program.

Cost: €90 per person (discounts available for 3 or more booking together)
