We start at the picturesque and busy little harbour at Howth, with its fishing boats and many small leisure craft. The walk takes us around Howth Head, where we get magnificent views to the islands of Ireland’s Eye and Lambay. From here we follow the cliff path south where we will see seabirds soaring and swooping on the wind, and many species of flowering plants, particularly in spring and summer.
Grade: Easy, (tracks, cliff paths, and woodland)
Meeting point: Howth Harbour yacht club, 11.00am
Pick up point in Dublin: Tourist office, Suffolk Street, 10.15am (Transport can be provided, but spaces are limited, €10 per person, please contact us).
