Weekend guided hiking breaks
From hiking in Snowdonia to wild camping in the Wicklow Hills
Explore the wonderful mountains of Snowdonia in North Wales on our weekend hiking break, three days of hiking in the magnificent surroundings of these rocky peaks. Climb Snowdon by the less frequented South Ridge, explore Cwm Idwal and the Glyders, and enjoy the great hospitality of the village of Llanberis. This is intended as a hassle-free Bank Holiday weekend to try something new. It is best suited to regular hikers with a reasonable level of fitness and is thus graded as hard.
“Few places in this world are more dangerous than home. Fear not, therefore, to try the mountain-passes. They will kill care, save you from deadly apathy, set you free, and call forth every faculty into vigorous, enthusiastic action.” – John Muir, author and environmental philosopher
If you want to try something really different why not join our Wicklow wild camping weekend?
Two days hiking through the Wicklow mountains, with a wild-camp on the Saturday night. We will show you how to select a good wild-camp site, erect your tent, prepare your food and spend a comfortable night in the mountains. Tents, cooking equipment and sleeping mats are provided, but you will need your own rucksack, sleeping bag and food.
